Licence Agreement
This Licence Agreement outlines the terms and conditions governing the use of digital products from RTL English (rtlenglish.com).

By downloading any digital content, including workbooks, guides, reports and other resources, from our website, you agree to abide by these licensing terms. Please review the limitations and guidelines for each licence type.

1. Free Licence
   For users downloading free resources from the RTL English website:

   • Download and Print: You may download and print the product once within seven (7) days of purchase.
   • Permitted Use: Free downloads are strictly for personal use at home with your family. You may not share, redistribute, or use the resources for any commercial or educational purposes beyond your own household.

2. Parent Licence
   For parents purchasing products from RTL English:

   • Download and Print: You may download and print the product up to four (4) times within 360 days of purchase.
   • Permitted Use: The materials are for personal use at home with your family. You may not share, redistribute, or use the resources outside of your immediate household, nor use them for commercial or public educational purposes.

3. Tutor Licence
   For freelance tutors purchasing products from RTL English:

   • Download and Print: You may download and print the product up to five (5) times within 360 days of purchase.
   • Permitted Use: This licence allows you to use the materials with your students in up to three (3) classes. The resources may be shared with these students, but you are not permitted to redistribute or sell them, nor use them beyond the scope of the stated classroom usage. Use of the resources for additional classes beyond the three stipulated classes is not permitted.

4. School Licence
   For schools purchasing products from RTL English:

   • Download and Print: You may download and print the product up to six (6) times within 360 days of purchase.
   • Permitted Use: This licence allows the materials to be used with students in up to ten (10) classes. The resources may be shared within the scope of these classes, but they may not be distributed, sold, or used beyond the designated number of classes. The use of resources in more than ten classes will require additional licences.

5. General Limitations

   • No Redistribution: Under all licence types, you may not share, distribute, or syndicate the downloaded resources outside the permitted scope of use.
   • No Resale: The resources are licensed for use as described above and may not be resold, offered as bonuses, or used for any commercial purposes beyond those stated.
   • Non-Transferable: Licences are non-transferable and non-sublicensable. The licence granted is for the specific user, family, tutor, or school that has made the purchase, and the licence cannot be passed on to others.
   • No Alteration of Distribution Rights: You may not sell Resell Rights, Master Resale Rights, Private Label Rights, or any derivative rights to the content, nor can you offer it through auction sites or as a Kindle book.
   • No Licence Transfer: You may not sell, give away, or transfer your licence to another party, nor grant others permission to sell or brand the content.
   • Expiry: The number of downloads and printing allowances are limited by time and quantity as detailed in each licence type. Once the download limit is reached, a new licence must be purchased to access the resources again.

6. Digital Content Protection
   We reserve the right to implement various digital content protection measures on any downloadable materials provided to you. This includes, but is not limited to:

   • Watermarking: We may add visible or invisible watermarks containing customer information to all downloadable content. These watermarks are designed to assist in tracking and identifying unauthorised distribution or copyright breaches.
   • Encryption and Access Control: We may encrypt PDF files or other downloadable materials to prevent unauthorised copying or sharing. Encryption may restrict certain functionalities, such as printing or editing, to protect our intellectual property rights.

7. Termination

   • Licence Revocation: RTL English reserves the right to revoke licences and access to downloads if misuse or violation of these terms is detected. This includes, but is not limited to, sharing materials beyond the scope of the licence, redistributing the product, selling or sublicensing the content, or using it for unauthorised purposes.
   • Legal Action: We reserve the right to pursue legal action to enforce our rights and seek damages for unauthorised use or distribution of our content. This may include claims for infringement, breach of contract, and any other relevant legal grounds. RTL English alone will assess the severity of each violation.
