Building Skills Step-by-Step with Level-Specific Workbooks
Lesson Workbooks
Each lesson is accompanied by a detailed RTL English workbook that guides both the teacher and the student through the learning process. The workbook contains six worksheets filled with instructional content that breaks down each language skill into manageable chunks. The seventh page is a dedicated reinforcement exercise, designed to consolidate what your child has learned in a fun, engaging way. This page often includes games, puzzles, or problem-solving activities that make learning feel less like a task and more like an exciting challenge.
Teaching Instructions
Teachers and parents can rely on the comprehensive teaching instructions provided with each workbook. These notes outline step-by-step instructions, ensuring you know exactly how to lead the lesson, encourage participation, and adapt to the needs of each student. The teaching instructions offer tips on how to approach different learning styles, ensuring that each child is engaged, motivated, and making progress.
While all workbooks follow a similar structure for consistency, each lesson is carefully crafted to increase in difficulty as the level progresses. This allows your child to advance at a steady pace, mastering core language skills before moving on to more challenging concepts. Each lesson builds on the last, reinforcing previously learned material while introducing new topics in a way that feels natural and manageable. The small, incremental steps help prevent your child from feeling overwhelmed while ensuring they develop strong and lasting English language skills.
The RTL English curriculum is structured into 5 learning stages, spanning across 15 learning levels. These levels cover a wide range of skills, from phonics and basic vocabulary to advanced reading comprehension and writing techniques. In total, there are 324 lessons, with each level consisting of 36 lessons.
Completing one level typically takes the duration of an academic year, allowing your child to learn and progress in sync with their school curriculum. This gradual approach ensures that by the end of each level, your child will have a solid grasp of the English skills needed to move confidently to the next stage.
With RTL English, learning is not just about mastering the content of each lesson—it’s about ensuring long-term language retention and building a foundation that your child can rely on for a lifetime.
